Les Sommets Chevrolet Buick GMC is a family-owned business in Mont-Tremblant, founded in 1999 by Marc Lamoureux. Two generations of the Lamoureux family serve drivers across the Laurentians, from vehicle purchase to maintenance.

Our Story

• 1999: Originally from Aylmer in the Outaouais region, Marc Lamoureux had been skiing in Tremblant every weekend since childhood. When the opportunity arose to purchase the Pontiac Buick GMC dealership in Mont-Tremblant, he seized it and moved to the Tremblant area. The business was born.
• 2004–2006: Deeply rooted in his new community, Marc Lamoureux served as president of the Mont-Tremblant Chamber of Commerce, actively contributing to the region's economic development.
• 2006: To better serve a growing clientele, the dealership moved into a brand-new, more modern, and more spacious facility.
• 2009: A major milestone in the company's history, Les Sommets acquired the Chevrolet franchise, GM's top-selling brand, becoming Les Sommets Chevrolet Buick GMC. This pivotal shift transformed the business, establishing it as a benchmark GM dealership in the region.
• 2017: The second generation stepped onto the scene. Daughter of the founder, Katerine Lamoureux inherited the family passion for skiing: an athletic scholarship took her to Alaska for four years, where she skied for the University of Alaska Anchorage while completing a degree in finance and accounting. Returning to the Laurentians, she joined the business founded by her father.
• 2021: Passing the torch to the next generation. After four years working alongside her father, Katerine Lamoureux took the reins of the family business, becoming General Manager and Co-owner.

Under Katerine's leadership, Les Sommets continues to grow while staying true to the core values that have built its reputation since 1999: attentive service and quality maintenance.
